Lockdown relaxed, Ahmedabad reopens.

In the last two days, eight toddlers, seven – one year olds and one three year old have tested positive for Covid -19 in the City. Four of these tested positive on Thursday , among the 266 new cases registered in the city. As many as 260 new cases and 19 deaths reported in Ahmedabad city on Thursday.
324 new cases reported in 24 hours , the tally in Gujarat reached 9592 on Thursday , while the death toll increased to 586 , during the same period ,20 patients succumbed to the infection , taking the toll to 586 in the state ,191 persons also recovered and given discharge from different hospitals in the state , taking the number of such people to 3,753.
A week after remaining hold up inside their homes , with no access to fresh fruits and vegetables and making do with whatever groceries remained at home , Ahmedavadis will now be able to replenish their stock. Friday onward, grocery shops, fruits and vegetables vendors and flour mills will be back to business from 8am to 3pm.
