Adarsh Nagar : When the country makes a beeline for vaccination hundred’s of school children sign up for herbal sapling plantation school movement a joint social initiative by Santhigiri Health Care and NMDC for promoting better immunity practices using herbal plants among students.
Santhigiri Ashram, Hyderabad branch joints hands with Adarsh Nagar Welfare society for the distribution of hundreds of plants today to children around 30 schools. Bhaskar Rao former chief justice High court of Karnataka inaugurated the Herbal Sapling Plantation School Movement in Adarsh Nagar, the meetingng were presided by Swami Pranavashudan Jnana Thapaswi, In charge Santhigiri Ashram Regional Office Hyderabad. Dr P Madan Mohan Rao, President of Aadarsh Nagar Welfare Society distributed ‘Padmam’ – herbal book which explains the medicinal values and usage of plants. On this occasion Ayurveda siddha Medical camp were also conducted, inaugurated by Dr Rama Raghavan, Secretary Aadarsh Nagar welfare society. Shri Pravin kudumbe, Executive Director, IRDAI inaugurated the distribution of Navajyoti SriKarunakara Guru’s Biography in Telugu. Shri Rajagopal, Joint Secretary, Aadarsh Nagar Welfare Society give welcome speech and vote of thanks by Shri Naresh Aithabathula, PRO Santhigiri Ashram.

The World Health Organisation(W.H.O) has listed out the various serious epidemic outbreaks in several parts of the world since 1999. The W.H.O says the world will witness more and more epidemic in future. The purpose of the Herbal Sapling Plantation School Movement is to help students to learn and understand the benefits of herbal plants for better immunity against viral pandemics. Recently W.H.O estimated that 80% of the population worldwide rely on herbal medicines for some aspect of their primary healthcare needs.
