Santhigiri joins hands with Lootah Group in Dubai for Healthcare

Dubai: The Lootah Group of Companies has announced that it is entering the UAE’s emerging healthcare sector jointly with Santhigiri, India’s leading Ayurvedic and Siddha health care institution.
The first center in Dubai Motor City will be inaugurated this month. The Dubai Center will offer comprehensive treatments and wellness treatments. Santhigiri Holistic Health Center, the first venture in the field of healthcare, is a highly integrated healthcare center located in a peaceful environment and will be open to the public from next month. Apart from keeping Ayurveda as the mainstay of treatment, treatments such as homeopathy, acupuncture, osteopathy, chiropractic, nutrition, yoga and meditation will also be available here. There will also be treatments and wellness packages for chronic health problems, apart from Ayurvedic cafe and an exclusive retail store.

 

“It will be the largest such center in the UAE. Our goal is to nurture and support a person’s life journey to achieve a better physical and mental state.Over the next five years, our plan is to strengthen the network of one center in each country and expand to other GCC countries, ”said Ibrahim Saeed Ahmed Lootah, Chairman, Lootah Group of Companies.

The move to the healthcare sector is expected to be timely. Now the whole world is suffering from an epidemic. People are looking for alternative ways to treat themselves and deal with chronic diseases,” he added.
He explained that people around the world are moving towards a preventive health care approach like Ayurveda and other alternative medicines are gaining popularity and increasing importance. The global Ayurvedic market is expected to reach 16.14 per cent CAGR of $ 14.9 billion by 2026.
Commenting on the motivation behind bringing such an idea to the UAE, Lootah Group Chairman said: “I have personally experienced the benefits of treatment. So I decided to bring the best services of Santhigiri to my country, my region and my people. They need to begin their transitional journey to healing and health. We feel that we as a whole have a responsibility to our society to create awareness about the holistic nature of diseases and the healing process. Therefore, we strive to use an authentic approach to environmental and non-toxic resources, natural healing methods, holistic nutrition, wellness, healing, stress management and lifestyle. We also want to meet the growing medical tourism needs of the country within this domain”. Santhigiri Group has set up nine wellness centers, 30 Ayurvedic and Siddha hospitals, over 600-patient clinics, two medical colleges and four major medical institutes as part of its efforts to promote traditional medicine in India apart from The Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certified Plant unit which manufactures 500 Ayurvedic and Siddha medicines. “We are proud to work with Santhigiri as we have a first-hand understanding of its features,” he said.
