Guru Will Remove the Obstacles; Janani Tejaswi Jnana Thapaswini

“Manju”

Pothencode : ‘When we walk on Guru’s path and ideology, we may have many difficulties, but Guru will remove all that, and one should continue to work with devotion and calmness’, said Janani Tejaswi Jnana Thapaswini while speaking in the Meeting held in the afternoon at the Ashram Spiritual Zone (3-10-2022 Monday). She was sharing her experience with Guru.

‘From the time I could remember, I always had a thought in my mind to meet Guru and come to the Ashram. Born in an ordinary family, I always had thought that I would not get anything from the idolatrous practices. But even then I believed that God existed somewhere. I was very curious to know about the life and biographies of great souls. I was very backward in my studies. I continued to think that God is living somewhere. I told a relative about this. They talked about Guru and called me when Guru came to their house in Palakkad. I happened to meet Guru there.

‘After seeing Guru, I thought that I don’t need anything anymore. Guru stayed there for a week. When Guru went back I felt very sad. After a month and a half Guru came again and when I saw Guru I was speechless and could not say anything. Holding both my hands, Guru said, “You have undergone a lot, haven’t you? Do you remember me, haven’t you seen me? You have to take up this. ”

‘After that Guru came to my house and when I said that I don’t know how to welcome Guru, he said, ‘Just give me a flower’. Guru asked if I knew how many great souls were waiting for him on his way down. Guru said that he came there to give liberation to them. Then I asked Guru why once he said that ‘I should take up this’. Guru meant to say that I should stay in the ashram, he explained. My father’s brother opposed the life of Sannyasa. He also said that I should not leave it in the middle.

‘I used to always remember what Guru had said: ‘Whatever you do, do it remembering Guru’. I used to pray strongly that I should be able to take a firm decision in my life. I would see the life of Jesus in a vision as if I were watching a movie. Ascetic life is a life full of hardships like this, once you undertake it, do not turn back. This is my experience of life and it should be an inspiration. Every hardship and experience is a correction of life.

‘One day there was an overwhelming experience. In saw Sri Narayana Guru in darshan. He asked me to leave that same day. Immediately I left for the Ashram and that is how my ashram life began. I was lucky enough to serve Guru, and be with Guru. It is the result of Guru’s wish that we have got these children today as celebates. No one should say that if there is any problem, we will leave it. If there is any problem, we should live on by remembering that Guru will remove it,’ Janani said, concluding her speech.
