Swami Gurumithran Jnana Thapaswi, Santhigiri Ashram Organizing Secretary merged with Gurujyothi.

Pothencode: Santhigiri Ashram Organizing Secretary Swami Gurumithran Jnana Thapaswi has merged with Gurujyothi. He was 47 years old. Swami passed away  while undergoing a prolonged treatment for stomach ailment at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. His demise took place today, Tuesday 30-05-2023 at 10.10 am.

Swami Gurumithran Jnana Thapaswi was an inmate of the Ashram along with his mother since his childhood. After education, he became more active in ashram activities. He took sanyasa in 2002. He was, for a long time, in charge of Janmagriham (Santhigiri Ashram, Chandiroor Branch) which is the birthplace of Navajyothi Sreekarunakara Guru. He joined the Ashram Board of Directors from 2011, and became the Joint Secretary. Since 2019, he has been serving as the Organizing Secretary of Santhigiri Ashram and Manager of Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College.

His name in his previous stage of life was Ajayakumar L. He was born to Krishnankutty and Lathika on February 10, 1976 at  Chirayinkeezhu Thaluk of Thiruvananthapuram. His physical remains  will be kept for public homage tomorrow (31-05-2023 Wednesday) from 7 am. The last rites and prayers will begin at 12 noon. The cremation will take place at the premises of  Santhigiri Ashram, Pothencode.
