Eight Youth belonging to Nihang Sikh group arrested for chopping ASI’s hand

Patiala, Punjab: An assistant sub-inspector’s hand was severed and two of his Punjab police colleagues were injured when a group of Nihang Sikhs allegedly attacked them with swords after being asked to show curfew passes.
Hours after the incident, police arrested eight men from a gurudwara in a nearby village. Police said that they have recovered arms, cannabis and cash during the raid.
