Minister’s wife visits Guruvayur temple amid ban on entry over COVID-19 cases

Guruvayur Devasom Board has reported that three women including minister Kadakampally Surendran’s wife visited the fames Sri.Krishna Temple here amid the ban on entry of devotees over spike in COVID 19 cases. In the report filed in High Court ,Devaswom Administratior Breeja Kumari claimed that the women visited the temple strictly abiding the covid 19 protocol. In the explanation ,Devaswom also claimed that permission for darshan was granted considering the health problems of minister’s wife.They stated that the government had not banned the entry to Nalambalam in the order which banned the entry of devotees to the temple.But following the ban on entry of devotees ,visitors were only allowed till the entrance of the temple.
