The Rays of a Golden Sunrise Greets the Avadhuthas at Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari: Avadhutha Yatra organized by the Sannyasi Sangam of Guru Dharma Prakasha Sabha of Santhigiri Ashram began its fourth day (4-5-2024) of the Yatra at sunrise at Kanyakumari. The Avadhuta Sangha witnessed the golden rays of the rising sun before the world could see them. The Avadhutha Sangha spent time at Kanyakumari till 7 am and recited kirtans like ‘Pahimam Karunakara’, and ‘Sadguruve Jaya’. Then they proceeded to the foothills of Marutwamalai, where they had breakfast.

Avadhutha Yatris traveling through Marutvamala and Aruvipuram today will undertake a Shanthi Yatra from Vellayambalam to Vivekananda Park at 3 pm, in Thiruvananthapuram city. Many dignitaries will attend the reception at Thiruvananthapuram organized by the citizens at Kavadiyar Vivekananda Park. After the welcome at the City, the Yatra will reach Pothencode Central Ashram at 6 pm and will conclude at the feet of the Guru.
