Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi urged muslim community to follow lock down rules during Ramdan

Union minister for Minority affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, has appealed to all Indian muslims to stay indoors and strictly adhere to guidelines of lockdown during Ramadan

The festival month is set to start form April 24. Naqvi, who is also chairman of Central Waqf council , informed that more than 7 lakh registered mosques , dargah and other religious institutions come under the state waqf boards across the country.

Most of the muslim nations including Saudi Arabia , have denounced mass gathering during Ramadan
