Spiritual Movements Initiated Social Renaissance – Swami Gururathnam Jnana Thapaswi

Alappuzha: Santhigiri Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururathnam Jnana Thapaswi said that the Renaissance period was formed through spiritual movements and made possible by the Gurus. The Swami was speaking while inaugurating the first anniversary of the Alappuzha Tambakachuvad Santhigiri Ashram branch. All the places where the spiritual masters have set foot have become the sanctuaries of the world. Swami Gururathnam Jnana Thapaswi said that Tambakachuvad, blessed by the feet of Navajyothi Sri Karunakara Guru, has evolved into an ashram today. Swami said that behind the growth of any ashram, there are those who have made sacrifices and their sacrifice, dedication, and sweat are the basis of its growth.

As part of the celebrations that started at 6 am, flag hoisting, and offerings, followed by a cultural gathering at 12 pm and Deepa Pradakshina at 6.30 pm were held. Santhigiri Ashram Alappuzha Area Incharge Swami Jagathroopan Jnana Thapaswi presided over the Meeting, Aryad Block Panchayat Member T.K. Sharavanan, Mannancheri Gram Panchayat Member P.K.
