Supreme Court dismisses Kerala’s petition over fees in self-financing medical colleges

The Supreme Court has dismissed Kerala’s petition against the High Court order which permits self-financing medical colleges to levy high fees.The Apex court also dismissed Kerala government’s demand to remove statements made by HC against the fee committee. With this, students taking admission in self-financing medical colleges during 2020-21 academic year will have to give an affidavit that they will pay the fees according to the final verdict from the Supreme Court.
