Navapoojitham Proclamation Ceremony at Santhigiri on 21st August, Sunday

Pothencode: The 96th Birth anniversary celebrations of Navajyothi Sree Karunakara Guru, the founder of Santhigiri Ashram will commence with the proclamation at tomorrow’s grand ceremony. The Holy procession at 4 pm from Pothencode junction of Santhigiri Ashram is a prelude to the Proclamation Ceremony at 5 pm. Shri. Bhagawanth Khuba, Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, New and Renewable Energy will be the guest of honour at the ceremony who will also declare open the official commencement of the celebrations. The ceremony opens with the presidential address of Swami Chaithanya Jnana Tapaswi, President of Santhigiri Ashram and the following delegates including Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururetnam Jnana Tapaswi, D.K Murali, M.L.A, Vincent, M.L.A, V.S Shivakumar, Former Minister along with Dr. A. Sampath, N. Peethambara Kurup, Former M.L.A Koliyakode Krishnan Nair, CPI(M) Secretariat Member Anavoor Nagappan, Andoorkonam Gramapanchayath President Adv. M Munir, Vamanapuram Block Vice President S M Razi, Manikkal Gramapanchayath Vice President S Lekhakumari, Venjaramoodu Division District Panchayath Member Sheelakumari, Pothencode Block Health Education Standing Committee Chair Person Pothencode Anil Kumar,Manickal Grama Panchayath Welfare Standing Committee Chairperson R. Santhigiri Healthcare Research Organization in-charge Swami Gurusavidh Jnana Tapaswi will deliver the welcome speech and Mathrumandalam Deputy General Convener Dr. Hemalatha P.A.will express gratitude to all the participants on behalf of the Ashram.

26th August marks the beginning of 7 days long programmes including social gathering, symposiums and friendly congregations. Governor, Chief Minister, Union Central Ministers along with political, social, spiritual and culturally influential personalities joins to celebrate this grand spectacle.
