Saket (New Delhi): The Saket Shantigiri Ashram took out a lamp procession that made the streets of Saket and the Ashram atmosphere vibrant with divine light and devotion The procession started from the Yajnashala at 5 p.m. with the chanting of akhanda nama, music band, and people carrying colorful parasoles Sannyasis, Sannyasinis and devotees carried lit deepam (diya) in a half-cut coconut filled with oil, which is symbolic of lighting the soul with the fire of devotion and spiritual enlightenment. The procession circled the Ashram complex and came to the prayer hall concluding the ritual.
