Bengaluru: The Karnataka Police will try and facilitate families to reunite with loved ones within the city and state as a one-time medical emergency. This relaxation is being given only in cases of childbirth or death in the family.
Individuals will have to arrange for their own transportation and will also be required to carry medical transcripts for verification.
The announcement was made by Karnataka DGP Praveen Sood on his official Twitter handle on Monday, April 13.
Sources said that emergency passes will be issued in these cases upon verification of documents.
