DRDO’s ATAGS howitzer best in the world, no need for imported artillery guns, says top scientist

A top DRDO scientist that the newly produced ATAGS howitzer is the “ best gun in the world” with the capability to atrike targets at the longest range of of 48 kilometers.No need for imported artillery during the feild trials of the ATAGS ,project director and senior Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) scientist Shailendra V Gade said. The Advanced Tower Artillery Gun System(ATAGS) has been developed by the DRDO and produced by two firms Bharat Forge and Tata Advanced Systems Limited.
