Guru’s Love Is the Resource for Fulfilling the Purpose of Life:  Janani Mangala Jnana Thapaswini

Pothencode: Janani Mangala Jnana Thapaswini said that if we want to have Guru’s love and care in life always, we should keep Guru close to our lives. ‘Two things are of utmost importance to fulfill our life goals. It is Guru’s love and Guru’s care. I was able to enter the ascetic life because of these two blessings’, she said while sharing her experience in the meeting at the Spiritual Zone Conference Hall this morning (Tuesday 04.10.2022) on the occasion of the 38th Sannyasi Deeksha Varshikam of Santhigiri.

She belonged to a family with political influence. Her father was an atheist. Being able to come close to Guru at a very young age and experience Guru’s love was a blessing. Her Gurukula Brahmanivedita ritual was performed when she was studying in 8th standard. That time,Guru held her closely and said: ‘What she has to do is not this ritual, but something else’. Then her parents held Janani’s both hands and gave them to Guru. From then Guru’s protection is always there, the Janani said.

If we want to realise the protection and love of Guru, we must have a capacity to understand it. For that, prayer, sankalpam, karma and vrutam should be observed. Janani ended her speech by saying that when we live according to Guru’s words, all these blessings will be gained.
