Sri Karunakara Guru’s Thoughts Gave New Direction to the World – V. Muraleedharan

Pothencode: Union Minister V. Muraleedharan said that the thoughts and ideas of Navajyothi Sri Karunakara Guru have imparted a new sense of direction to the world. He was speaking while inaugurating the felicitation Meeting held on the occasion of the 39th Sannyasa Deeksha Varshikam at Santhigiri Ashram. The Guru knew that only through the spiritual upliftment of women can a proper spiritual renaissance be possible in the world. We see everything, starting with nature and the rivers, as our mother. In a country with such a tradition, today on Vijayadashami day, the ceremony of 22 Brahmacharini sisters taking sannyasa initiation is timely and appropriate for this day. The Minister said that Sannyasa Deeksha at Santhigiri Ashram is a ceremony to change the misconceptions that women are second-class citizens and once again call for the importance of women in society.

Minister Antony Raju formally announced the Sannyasa Deeksha in a function presided over by Kadakampalali Surendran. On the occasion, Food Minister G.R.
