Abu Dhabi :

Abu Dhabi Companies are no longer permitted to send workers out of Abu Dhabi and must limit their travel to within Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi said on its official Twitter account.

The department’s measures also prevent the entry of workers from other emirates into Abu Dhabi.

10,000 Dhinars are fines for companies found transporting workers out of Abu Dhabi.

Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (FAIC) said in a media briefing that entry permits for those inside the country are valid until the end of December 2020, if they have expired after March 1, 2020.

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced 81 new recoveries, taking the total number of recoveries to 933 as of April 14

To detect cases early, the UAE has opened 14 drive-through testing facilities that can screen hundreds of people daily without them having any direct contact with healthcare workers.

The Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre has been converted into a massive field hospital with a capacity to treat 3,000 Covid-19 patients.
