BJP elects Susheela Santhosh as chairperson, U Ramya as vice-chairperson in Pandalam

Ending the dispute ,BJP has elected Susheela Santhosh as the chairperson of Pandalam municipality.The party leadership has proposed susheela’s name for the post after the municipality witnessed a dispute over the post .Though the post was not reserved for women ,the party leadership decided to appoint a woman as the municipal chairperson. Meanwhile BJP elected U Ramya as the vice-chairperson.Out of the 18 Councillors of BJP,14 are women.BJP has obtained power in Pandalam municipality by winning 18 seats out of 33 seats.In LSG polls ,BJP won power only in pandalam and Palakkad municipalities.
