COVID vaccine dry run begins in Kerala

Covid vaccine dry run started in 4 districts of the state.Dry run will be organised at selected hospitals in Idukki,Palakkad, Wayanad and Thiruvananthapuram districts till 11 am on Saturday.Poozhanadu primary Health Centre,Peroorkada District Model Hospital,KIMS Hospital are selected hospitals in Thiruvananthapuram .Vazhathoppu Primary Helath Centre in Idukki,Nenmara Community Health centre in Palakkad and Kurukkamula Primary Health Centre in Wayanad have been selected for dry run. 25 health workers will take part in the dry run from each hospital.Minister K K Shailaja reached Peroorkada hospital and evaluated the state of affairs.She said that the state is ready for vaccine distribution.The dry run includes various processes such as arranging technical set up for COVID vaccine distribution ,uploading data ,matters related to vaccination in districts ,deploying vaccination teams,delivering materials in session sites,mock drill of vaccination reporting and analysis in block-district state levels.
