Tearful Farewell to Swami Gurumithran Jnana Thapaswi

Pothencode: Devotees, and leaders from religious, political, social and cultural fields paid their last respects to the Organizing Secretary of Santigiri Ashram, who merged with Gurujyoti yesterday. Seeing the Swami’s body on the flower-bedecked stage in the Spiritual Zone Garden at 8.00 am, the devotees and sanyasins became overwhelmed by emotion. Many of them were unable to accept the fact that the smiling face that was with them until yesterday is no more. Since morning many devotees, well-wishers, friends and classmates have been arriving to take a last look at the Swami., who was 47 years old.
