Death of Dr.Vandana Das: Protest by Siddha medical college students, doctors & professors

Thiruvananthapuram: Students of Santhigiri Siddha Medical College, Pothancode, condoled the death of Dr. Vandanadas and condemned the violence against healthcare personel. At 7 pm hundreds of Siddha medical students including house surgeons, doctors and professors lined up with candles lit at the Santhigiri Junction on the Thekkad-Kazhakootam bypass road. Santhigiri Siddha College students union organized the condolence program. Students union chairman Akash Kumar, secretary Sumaiya Yusuf.G, house surgeon Dr. Maria Martin, faculties Dr. Vasant Singh and Dr. Bhaskaran addressed the gathering by condoning the attack on healthcare personals.
