Foundation stone laid for Education Complex and Hospital-cum-Wellness Center at Chennai Santhigiri Ashram

Cheyyur (Chennai): The foundation stone was laid for Education Complex and Hospital cum Wellness Center at Santhigiri Ashram Chennai Cheyyur branch on 29-01-2023. In a ceremony held on Monday morning, Ashram Chennai Region Head Swami Manuchith Jnana Thapaswi laid the foundation stone of the Education Complex and Hospital cum Wellness Center. As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations, Gurusthaniya Abhivandya Shishya Poojitha visited Cheyyur Ashram in the first week of January. She then performed the ritual inauguration of Santhigiri Hospital cum Wellness Center and Education Complex.

Santhigiri Ashram founder Guru Navjyothi Sri Karunakara Guru’s vision of Gurukula education will be given priority here. Currently, the Ashram runs schools from Primary to Senior Secondary level, Ayurvedic Medical College, Siddha Medical College, School of Para Medical Sciences, and Ayurveda Therapy course as part of the Skill Development program of the Central Government.

The establishment of Santhigiri Wellness Center aims at the fulfilment of the vision of Nava Arogya Dharma Siddhantam of Navjyothi Sri Karunakara Guru and the promotion and development of Ayurveda and Siddha, the Indian systems of medicine.

Santhigiri Siddha Medical Faculty and Guru Dharma Prakasha Sabha member Dr. Janani Shyamarupa Jnana Thapaswini, Swami Satyachith Jnana Thapaswi, K.S. Panicker, Adv. Rajesh Shelvi, Assistant Manager Prabhu CR, Ashram Branch Coordination Committee members and devotees were present on the occasion.
