Santhigiri Atma Vidyalaya: Avadhuta Yatra In Today’s Lecture Series

Pothencode: There will be a talk on the Avadhuta Yatra which commemorates the life of sacrifice of Navajyoti Sri Karunakara Guru, in the lecture series under the auspices of Santhigiri Atmavidyalay, today (29/04/24). The lecture is from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm. Santhigiri Ashram President Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapasvi, General Secretary Swami Gururatnam Jnana Thapasvi, and Vice President Swami Nirmohatma Jnana Thapasvi will speak about the importance of the yatra. The lecture series has been going on since April 14. Today is the 15th day.

Avadhuta Yatra is conducted under the auspices of Santhigiri Atma Vidyalaya. The maiden yatra is planned for May 1 to 4, 2024. The first stage of the Avadhuta Yatra is from Guru’s birthplace Chandirur to Kanyakumari. This Avadhuta Yatra is a pilgrimage to remember the times spent by Guru in these places. Avadhuta Yatra will go through 25 places on the 25th anniversary of Navoli Jyotir Dinam. Navaoli Jyotir Dinam is celebrated every year on 6th May.
