Santhigiri Avadhuthas Performs Bhajan and Prayers at Sucheendram Temple

Suchindram: Santhigiri Avadhuthas performed bhajan and prayers at Suchindram temple where the reigning deities are Trimurti. The third day of the Avadhuta Yatra, which started from Santhigiri Ashram on May 1, assembled at the holy place. Suchindram is at the forefront of the prominent temples of South India. This temple is on the way to Kanyakumari. Santhigiri Ashram founder Guru Navajyoti Sri Karunakara Guru paid special attention to Suchindram, which is said to be the final resting place (samadhi) of Atri Maharshi. This temple is also prominent among the 108 temples established by Parashuram.

The place reverberated with devotion when Santhigiri Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururetnam Jnana Thapasvi, Swami Snehatma Jnana Thapasvi, and Swami Janapushpan Jnana Thapasvi led the singing of Guru Bhajans at Suchindram. After visiting Suchindram, the Avadhutha Yatra proceeded to Kanyakumari.
