Santhigiri’s activities will bring more Glory to the state – Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi

Sultan Bathery: Santhigiri Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi said that Ashram activities will bring more glory to the country. Swami was speaking at a meeting held at the Ashram, ahead of Gurusthaniya Shishyapoojitha’s pilgrimage and the dedication of Nambiarkunnu Branch Ashram on April 5, 2023. Guru’s first visit to this area was in November 1978. On that day, Guru got down at Cheeral by bus and came here by foot. That time Guru Stayed in a one-room mud house under the shade of trees. During his subsequent visits, Guru stayed here and visited the local residents nearby. Later on, A small living room for Guru was built by the devotees next to the mud house situated on the five-acre plot of land, which was dedicated by a devotee Parameshwaran. The clothes and utensils Guru had used have been well preserved here. The Ashram aims to preserve the old heritageof Wayanad and transform Guru’s Tapobhumi into a unique heritage center that invokes spirituality without compromising nature. Swami also informed that activities will be started in Nambiarkunnu based on Guru’s words that this place, which had no road and no light, will once be an international pilgrimage center. With Gurusthaniya’s visit, the Parnasala, inscribed with the memoir of the ashram, will be opened to the public.

On April 4 at 6 pm, Shishyapoojitha will be received by sanyasis, devotees and locals at Nambiarkunnu. Shishyapoojitha will rest at Ashram Darshan Mandir. On April 5 at 9 am, the Prathishta consecration ceremony will be held in the Prayer Hall in a prayerful atmosphere. Then Gurudarshan, eminent people from the political, social and cultural fields will participate in the friendly-gathering after the dedication ceremony. 50 personalities who have proved their ability in various fields will be honored in a special function to be held at 4 pm. Deepapradakshina will be held at 6 pm. There will also be a music fusion on the day at 8 pm, where traditional instruments will be performed as a festival of old heritage.

Janani Abheda Jnana Thapaswini, Swami Jyothichandran Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Janatheerthan Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Gurusavidh Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Sayoojyanath Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Madhuranadan Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Bhakthadathan Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Satyachith Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Atmachithan Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Atmadharman Jnana Thapaswi, Swami Chittaprakash Jnana Thapaswi and about fifty guru bhaktas from various areas participated in the preparation meeting held on March 18, Saturday.
