Janani Gurupreethi Jnana Thapaswini Warmly Welcomed

Bengaluru: Dr. Janani Gurupreethi Jnana Thapaswini was warmly welcomed at Sri Manjunatha Dharmasthala Ayurveda Medical College, Hassan, Karnataka on 30th October 2023. A reception was also given to her on October 29 on her arrival at Santhigiri Ashram, Bengaluru. Bengaluru Region Head Swami Sayoojyanath Jnana Thapaswi, Sri Ganashyam Chandra Nandi, the father of Janani Gurupreethi Jnana Thapaswini, and staff members of Bengaluru Regional Office and Branch Ashram were present at the reception in the Ashram.

Janani Gurupreethi Jnana Thapaswini, formerly Dr. Rosi Nandi, was initiated in the Sannyasa Deeksha ceremony held at Pothencode Santhigiri Ashram on the day of Vijaya Dashami, 24th October, 2023. Janani Gurupreethi is an MD in Ayurveda and is doing a Ph.D. in Panchakarma at SMD Ayurveda Medical College, Hassan. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sent his greetings to the 22 young women who took up Sannyasa in Santhigiri Ashram.
