95th Navapoojitham at Santhigiri tomorrow: Governor to inaugurate

Pothencode: Kerala Governor Shri. Arif Mohammad Khan will inaugurate the Santhigiri Nava Poojitham celebrations tomorrow in connection with the 95th Birth Anniversary of its founder Guru Navajyothi Sree Karunakara Guru.

Navapoojitham celebrations will be held complying Covid norms. The celebrations will begin in the Ashram tomorrow at 5 am with a special floral offering followed by the flag-raising ceremony at 6. Honorable Governor will arrive at the Ashram and will pay his tributes to the Guru by offering flowers at the Parnasala, the final resting place of the Guru.

The Governor will inaugurate the 95th Navapoojitham celebrations organised by the Ashram on this occasion at 11 am tomorrow . Several dignitaries from the political, social and cultural spheres are expected to attend the function.

Navapoojitham will be celebrated on the same day in all the centers of the Ashram in India and abroad including New York, Mexico, Tokyo, Nepal, Colombo, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Sharjah, Kuwait, Moscow, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Singapore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Arunachal Pradesh, Chennai, Kanyakumari and various other places.

Santhigiri is also organizing a virtual ‘Sauhrida Koottayma’ (Friendly get Together) on Sunday in connection with Navapoojitham. The program will be conducted in different cities throughout India and abroad.
Navajyothi Sri Karunakara Guru was a great visionary Guru who evaluated the past, present and the future and showed the path ahead for mankind through a socio-spiritual renaissance.

Due to COVID norms, the celebrations are limited to prayers and Ashram ceremonies, avoiding the crowds.
