Navajyothi Sri Karunakaraguru is a unique voice in the field of spirituality, Sri N K Premachandran MP Said. He was speaking after inaugurating Santhisangamam at the Santhigiri Ashram. He also said that it is important and timely that the views of the Guru should be considered in a scholarly manner. Kadakampally Surendran MLA addressed the meeting held at the Ashram Sahakarana Mandiram. In his Presidential address, Kadakampally said that the ideas put forward by the Guru are very thought provoking and guiding in a social environment full of hatred and wrong motives. Rajya Sabha member M.A. Rahim was honored in the meeting.

Dr. Mathew Manankarakkavil, Chief Vicar of the Malankara Church, Thiruvananthapuram and Major Archdiocese, and Swami Snehatma Jnana Tapasvi, Regional Head,Santhigiri Ashram, Chennai were also present.
