Suthur Mutt Spreads the Message of Unity and Love – Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi

Mysore: Suthur Mutt sends the message of unity and love, and the role of our sannyasa tradition is great in keeping peace, prosperity, progressive thinking, and unity in diversity in the world, and Suthur Mutt plays a prominent role in spreading it in the world, said Santhigiri Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi. He was speaking after inaugurating the community marriage held in connection with the Mysore Suthur Jatra Mahotsavam. Swami said that every ceremony held here is a reflection of unity and goodness. Swami also said that he wishes all those who are bound by the Mangalya Sutra all the best.

Suthur Bhavan in Delhi is near the New Delhi branch of Santhigiri Ashram. Santhigiri Ashram in New Delhi has been able to cooperate with Suthur Mutt in many ways. Last November, the consecration ceremony of Santhigiri Ashram’s Silver Jubilee Center was held in Delhi and was attended by Suthur Abbot Maha Swamiji. Swami also expressed his gratitude for the Abbot’s participation in the celebrations of the New Delhi Ashram.

This is the first time that Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi is participating in the annual celebration held every year from Pushya Bahula Dwadashi to Magha Suddha Bidige at Sri Suthur Srikshetra. Santhigiri Ashram Cherthala Area Head Swami Bhaktaduthan Jnana Thapaswi and Bengaluru Area Head Swami Sayujyanath Jnana Thapaswi also participated in the function along with Swami. The six-day celebrations include various spiritual, educational, and cultural activities that help in the overall development of the society. Jagadguru Sri Niranjananandapuri Maharaj of Sri Kanakaguru Peetha, Kagin also attended the function. Many people from the political, social, and industrial fields participated as special guests.
