SPG Director Arun Kumar Sinha IPS Passed Away

New Delhi: SPG Director, Arun Kumar Sinha IPS (61) who is in charge of Prime Minister’s security and a Kerala Cadre IPS Officer passed away today. He served in various parts of Kerala as Superintendent of Police, City Police Commissioner, and ADGP. He has also held the post of ADGP in BSF. He has been serving as the Director General of the Special Protection Group (SPG) in the Prime Minister’s Office for the past seven years.
During the Teerthayathra of Gurustaniya Abhivandya Sishya Poojitha to Gujarat Sri Sinha, who was the IG of BSF in-charge of the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan, received her at the BSF headquarters in Ahmedabad. The group of Teerthayatris was warmly welcomed and a feast was arranged in honor of Shishya Poojitha. She had a brief satsang with him and his family on this occasion.

Arunkumar Sinha was a capable police officer. He maintained good relations with Santhigiri Ashram and the General Secretary Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi. When U.P.A. Chairperson Sonia Gandhi visited Santhigiri Ashram, he helped the Ashram in security matters. Sri Sinha was a person who could always be depended on for any matter and during his service in Delhi, he often visited Santhigiri Ashram New Delhi branch and introduced many dignitaries to the Ashram. Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapasvi expresses profound sorrow over Arun Kumar Sinha’s untimely demise. He is a native of Hazaribagh in Bihar. Wife: Meetha Sinha. The cremation will be held today at 4 pm at the Lodhi Road crematorium in New Delhi.
