Siddha Medical Team Go to Villages

Chennai: As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Cheyyur Santhigiri Ashram, Chennai, the students who have come to participate in the Makkal Aryogyam Medical Camp organized by Santhigiri Ashram at Chaiyyur branch have got a new experience. They are going to the interior villages of Tamil Nadu with a new mission. The Students of Santhigiri Siddha Medical College have a rare opportunity as part of their studies. The senior faculties explained to them how many teams should go to each village, what the medical equipment for the necessary survey, and what sample medicines to be carried by each as well as the issues that need to be urgently focused in the survey. Santhigiri Siddha Medical College Assistant Prof. Dr. Janani Shyamarupa Jnana Thapaswini, Prof. J. Ninapriya, Prof. Kalai Selvi Balakrishnan, Dr.S. Bhaskaran, and Dr. S. L. Prakash briefed them the guidelines to be followed. The survey will start this morning. The survey is being conducted ahead of the mega medical camp to be held on January 7. Famous film star Thalaivasal Vijay will inaugurate the Makkal Sanadhi project on January 7.
