KSRTC starts service across state, bags good response on day-1

Bengaluru: After a gap of two months, KSRTC re-launched its services between various district headquarters, on Tuesday, May 19.

According to the KSRTC authorities, inter-district service was started at 6 am on ‘one seat- one passenger’ module. All buses are operating with 30 passengers.

The buses are plying on Bengaluru-Mangaluru, Bengaluru-Mysuru, Bengaluru- Udupi, Bengaluru-Hubballi and other routes.

Mask and hand sanitiser has been made compulsory. Social distancing has been made compulsory while getting into the bus and waiting at the bus terminus.

Meanwhile, the KSRTC authorities requested the passengers to prefer online booking (on ksrtc.in) to avoid any contact with the bus crew.

Transport minister Laxman Savadi announced Rs.30 lakh relief for KSRTC crew member on-duty, who dies of COVID-19.
