Santhigiri Avadhutha Sangham in Bimapalli with the Message of Religious Harmony

Thiruvananthapuram: The visit of Santhigiri Avadhutha Sangham to Bimapalli evoked the message of religious harmony. The Avadhutha Yatra was accorded a warm welcome at Bimapalli. Muslim Jamaat officials welcomed the Avadhutha Yatra Sangham. Bimapalli Rasheed welcomed the meeting held at Palliyankanam. Bimapalli Chief Imam Najumuddin Pookoya Thangal delivered the keynote address in the meeting presided over by Santhigiri Ashram President Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapasvi.

Qureshi Fakir was Sri Karunakara Guru’s spiritual mentor in the initial stage. Bimapalli and its surroundings are a place of cultural exchange and communal harmony. Pookoya Thangal said that the auspicious entry of the Avadhuta Yatra of Santhigiri puts forward a great message to the world beyond mere religious rituals.

Santhigiri Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururatnam Jnana Thapasvi spoke on behalf of Avadhutha Sangham. Swami said that Bimapalli is the place where Sri Karunakara Guru traveled many times during his Avadhuth and rested and that it was the greatest fortune for the Guru’s disciples to come here and spend one day on this sandy beach. Jamaat President Mahin, General Secretary Shah Jahan, Treasurer Nizamuddin, Joint Secretary Shan Bimapalli, Vice President Abu Bakar, former office bearers T. Bashir and MP Assis also attended the meeting.
