Bengaluru: Karnataka registered 28 new COVID-19 positive cases, on Monday, taking the total tally to 642.
The state also registered one death of a 56-year-old man from Kalaburgi, who was admitted to the hospital, on April 29 with COVID-19 symptoms. This is the 26th death in the state.
What is shocking is that as many as 21 cases were reported from Davangere alone, out of which majority have got infected from one P-533.
Remaining seven cases were reported from Chikkaballapur (1), Haveri (1), Mandya (2), Kalaburgi (2) and Vijayapura (1).
