Youngest candidate in local body polls wins,meet Reshma Mariyam Roy who got elected from Konni

The youngest candidate in local body polls, Reshma Mariyam Roy has secured victory in Konni panchayat.She has won from the 11^th ward in konni Aruvapulam panchayat.Even though her family were traditional supporters of congress,Reshma who had a left tilt since her childhood days,contested as CPM’s candidate. The minimum age requires to contest in local body polls are 21.She completed 21 years on November 18^th just one day before the nomination date -November 19. Reshma who actively took part in the election campaign even wrote down the grievances of people and problems in each area in her dairy.She was an SFI member in Konni VNS college is currently a member of SFI district secretariat and a member of DYFI district committee.
