PJ Kurian dismisses Ramesh Chennithala’s demand for Speaker to resign

Senior Congress leader P J Kurian has dismissed Opposition leader’s demand that speaker Sreeramakrishnan should resign after he was summoned for interrogation by the Customs Department.Kurian stated that customs decision to interrogate someone holding a constitutional position is wrong .The former Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman stated this while taking part in a discussion in a news programme
