Kerala declares bird flu as state calamity; alert issued

Kerala has declared bird flu as a state calamity .After has been issued in the state including the border areas.Director of Animal Husbandry Dr.K.M Dileep responded that bird flu has been included in the list of state calamities.Strict restrictions will be imposed in Karthikappally and Kuttanad taluks in Alappuzha and Neendoor in Kottayam where disease was confirmed.
