“Manju”

Swami Jayadeepthan Jnana Thapaswi said that, the word sanyasam has its meaning through sacrifice and devotion , a Sanyasi should be prepared for any type of sufferings in his life.

Today (Wednesday 28/09/2022), the third day of Sanyasa Deeksha Anniversary celebrations, Swami was speaking to the members of the Guru Dharma Prakasa Sabha at the Spiritual Zone Conference Hall, and he shared his experiences with the Guru.

I was born to a poor farming family in Palakkad district which had no spiritual background. The first Brahmachari of Santhigiri Ashram, described his arrival to the Ashram and his many experiences with the Guru.

I have got many opportunities to travel with our Guru and understand Guru’s love, care, sacrifice & grief. Guru has given me the opportunity to work in various activities of the Ashram. Swami said that he did not came to Ashram in search of liberation and salvation but lead a life as per Guru’s wish. Doing services in Branch Ashrams imparted new lessons in my life. I had the fortune to start the preliminary works of about eight Branch Ashrams. Sanyasis and Jananis should not give up no matter what difficulties may arise while working in the Ashram. Guru will make us evolve when we take the pain in this sacrificial atmosphere.
Swami said that Guru first told us about the greatness of serving food and that is the first thing that should be practiced in Branch Ashrams also.

Swami said that Guru told us about the greatness of serving food and that is the first thing which should be practiced in the branch ashrams too. Those who come here should be well fed the more you give, the more you get, is swamis experience he added. The path of a sanyasi is the path of sacrifice.
