Guru’s Life a Model to Society – Swami Navananma Jnana Thapaswi

Pothencode: Santhigiri Ashram Joint Secretary Swami Navananma Jnana Thapaswi said that every devotee and sannyasi should model the life of Guru and give that example to society.

Sannyasa is the most gracious opportunity in life, and that opportunity should be fulfilled according to Guru’s will. The sannyasi’s effort is to get rid of the self-defeating traits and to nourish the positive ones in order to achieve mukthi. That is the whole aim of the Indian sannyasa tradition. The society gets guided in that direction taking inspiration from the life of the sannyasi, the Swami said while delivering the keynote address on the second day of the Satsang organized in connection with the Sannyasa Deeksha Varshikam at Santhigiri Ashram.
