New Principal Takes Charge in Santhigiri Vidya Bhavan Higher Secondary School

Pothencode: Santhigiri Vidya Bhavan Higher Secondary School has appointed Deepa SS as Principal. Deepa who has taken over as the Principal of Santhigiri Vidya Bhavan was a first-batch student of Santhigiri Vidya Bhavan. With her appointment, a new era in gurukula education is expected to come. Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururatnam Jnana Thapaswi, General Secretary’s Office Director (Administration) Janani Divya Jnana Thapaswini, Santhigiri Vidya Bhavan Senior Secondary School Principal Janani Kripa Jnana Thapaswini, Finance controller Swami Gurusavith njanthapaswi, Brahmachari Akhil JL, Education Department Senior Manager Sajevan E, Vice principal Sreejith and other department staff and students were present in the function held at 11 am.

Deepa holds a BA in History and an MA in Malayalam and Social Science from Kerala University. She also holds a B.ED. in and an M.ED in social science. Navjyoti Sri Karunakara Guru started Santhigiri Vidya Bhavan Higher Secondary School 45 years ago. Deepa was among the first students of that time. Deepa took over as a teacher in Santhigiri Vidya Bhavan Higher Secondary School in 1998. She has worked as an academy coordinator for the past three years. Her husband is Jayaprakash, who serves as Sri Lankan Consulate Advisor and Chief of Staff. Kripa and Keertana are the children.

“Children should make up their minds to overcome all difficulties and move forward. Take every challenge as an opportunity and move forward with great strength. Know yourself and believe in your abilities. Change our attitude according to the times and move forward. We can reach our goal very soon.” Deepa told the children after assuming charge as the principal.
