Janani Anavadya Jnana Thapaswini Conducts pooja at Santhigiri Ashram, Bangalore

Pothencode : Janani Anavadya Jnana Thapaswini performed pooja at Santhigiri Ashram, Sarjapur Road Branch at 9.00 am today (Friday, 21.10.2022), beginning a new chapter in the history of the Ashram.

From this Vijayadashami, Guru had given permission to a few senior female sanyasins of Guru Dharma Prakasha Sabha to officiate pooja and rituals. Janani Anavadya Jnana Thapaswini was one of the 34 celebates who had received sanyasa deeksha, for the first time in 1984.

Janani Abheda Jnana Thapaswini and Janani Pooja Jnana Thapaswini besides Janani Anavadya Jnana Thapaswini have been granted permission to officiate worship in Santhigiri’s branch ashrams. Janani Pooja Jnana Thapaswini is at Santhigiri Ashram New Delhi Saket Branch and Janani Abheda Jnana Thapaswini Ashram at Wayanad Sultan Bathery. Earlier, only Gurusthaniya Abhivandya Shishyapoojita Amritha Jnana Thapaswini had the privilege to conduct worship among the female sanyasins.
