Newly elected president of Thenhipalam panchayat attempts suicide, hospitalised

A man who was elected as panchayat president the other day attempted suicide here on thursday. Aalungal native T Vijith(33) who sworn in as president of Thenhipalam panchayat tried to commit suicide. Vijith was admitted at Kozhikode Medical College .The incident took place in the wee hours of thursday.
