Welcome to Avadhutha Yatra Today In Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: A reception will be held today in Thiruvananthapuram for the Avadhutha Yatra, which is being undertaken by the disciples and followers of Navajyoti Sri Karunakara Guru, the founder of Santhigiri Ashram, under the leadership of Santhigiri Ashram President Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapasvi and General Secretary Swami Gururatnam Jnana Thapasvi. Ministers, MLAs, and other dignitaries from art, culture, politics, and business fields and members of the royal family will receive the Avadhuta Yatra Sangham. The group will take a Shanti Yatra from Vellayambalam to Kavadiyar Vivekananda Park. The reception will be held at Vivekananda Park at 3 PM.

The Avadhutha Yatra consisting of about two hundred people, including members of the Gurudharma Prakash Sabha, brahmacharins, and householders started from Kanyakumari at 6 am today and will reach Aruvipuram by 10 am. In the afternoon the group will visit Thiruvananthapuram Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Local citizens will give a reception to the Yatra at Pothencode. The Avadhutha Yatra will undertake a Padayatra to the Central Ashram from Pothencode and conclude at the feet of the Guru.
