Karnataka sees spike with 42 new cases; State tally reaches 904

Bengaluru: In a shocking development, Karnataka registered 42 new corona positive cases on Tuesday morning, taking the state tally to 904.

Out of the 904 cases, a total of 15 cases were reported from Bagalkote alone. All of these 15 are those who had a travel history to Ahmedabad.

Dharwad reported nine new cases and even these positive cases have travel history to Ahmedabad.

Hasan reported five cases and all of them had a travel history to Mumbai. One of the five positive cases is a four-month-old toddler.

Bengaluru Urban had three cases, Yadgir reported two cases along with Bidar and Dakshina Kannada.

Bellary, Chikkaballapur, Kalaburgi, and Mandya reported one case each.

The state had 31 COVID-19 fatalities and 426 discharges.
