Avadhut journey of Santhigiri to Begin from Chandirur on May 1

Pothencode: Embarking on a journey to rediscover the sacrificial life of Navajyothi SreeKarunakara Guru, this pilgrimage traverses the lands that bear witness to the historical spiritual sacrifices of Guru. It is an opportunity to immerse oneself in the deeply reminiscent thoughts of those momentous spiritual moments.

In an act of self-surrender and complete acknowledgement of Guru’s myriad sacrifices, Guru’s lineage is preparing to traverse an Avadhuta pilgrimage of seeking, embodying the ideals of Sanyasa and Brahmacharya.

Starting from the Guru’s birthplace in Chandiroor and travelling to Sivagiri Mutt, the pilgrimage would the pass through the beaches of Varkala, Beemapalli, and Shankumugham. The journey will proceed to Thakkala, Shuchindram, and finally reach Kanyakumari. This spiritual journey will span four days.

Under the auspices of Santhigiri Athmavidyalayam, the pilgrimage encompasses practices of vows, prayers, chanting, and other spiritual practices in an effort to completely align with the Will of Guru in every aspect. It offers a chance to delve deeper into the life of Guru, marked by reverence, the joy of renunciation, and a deeper understanding of one’s life purpose.
