Navajyothi Sri Karunakara Guru gave the world the noble vision of a Guru Shishya lineage: Union minister Bhagawanth Khuba

Thiruvananthapuram: While inaugurating Santhigiri Ashram’s 96th Navapoojitham celebrations Bhagwanth Khuba, Honourable Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, New and Renewable Energy stated the Indian tradition to be one that respects and admires the Guru lineage. This tradition is deeply rooted and integrated in our culture as an ancestral treasure exclusive and unique to our nation. He further stated that Guru’s being guiding lamps of light enabling social transformation and communal harmony, is the crux of Santhigiri’s spiritual philosophy.

Ashram President, Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapaswi gave the presidential address in the blessed presence of Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi and Ashram Vice President Swami Nirmohatma Jnana Thapaswi . The 96th Navapoojitham celebrations commence on Friday, the 26th of August and will span over seven days culminating on Thursday, the 1st of September. The final day of the celebrations will be graced by the presence of the Governor, His Excellency Arif Mohammad Khan of Kerala, the Chief Minister, Honorable Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Ministers as well acclaimed leaders from the fields of industry, politics, spirituality, arts and culture.
