“Manju”

Pothencode: Swami Nirmohatma Jnana Thapasvi said that Brahmacharya Vritam is the path to sannyasa, and it is an opportunity to work for home, country, and world. The Swami was speaking at a special awareness class organized at the Spiritual Zone Conference Hall Annex today (1-10-2022 Saturday) afternoon for new Brahmacharis at Santhigiri Ashram. ‘The initiation of new sannyasis and brahmacharis comes at a time when Santhigiri is growing to a global status. Thousands of sannyasis will be needed to spread Guru’s ideology to the whole world and spread the idea to billions of people. The members joining the Gurudharma Prakasa Sabha are fortunate’, the Swami said.
The Swami described the background of the Ashram in 1968 when Guru started the Ashram. ‘Santhigiri is a place where you will have experience seeing Guru. Only in Santhigiri there is the performance of Guru Pooja for moulding a very great generation. One can gain spiritual experience and the luck of vision here through prayer. The life of Abhivandya Shishyapoojita who accepted ascetic life at the age of eight as Radha and began her journey with Guru should be studied.’
‘Each one should work in such a way making sacrifices for the Guru that his karma becomes beneficial for the world. You must possess the energy to overcome any crisis. There should be a firm determination not to leave this movement no matter what. Wherever you go, you should behave according to the way of life and experience given by the Guru. One should have the courage to follow the words of Shishya Poojitha. Accept the good fortune that comes and live accepting hardships and sacrifices.’ The Swami also suggested using the opportunity to work for the uplift of one’s home, country, and world.
The awareness classes were held in two sessions. Dr. KRS Nair conducted an interactive session with Stefan Schisse from Germany, Darshil Anil Kumar Bhatt from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Shalini Pruthi, Guru Chandrika, and Anita Rani from New Delhi and Rosy Nandi from Karnataka who all came from outside the State and are celibates in the Ashram.
