Deepa Pradakshinam Diffusing Spiritual Light at Santhigiri Ashram

Pothencode (Thiruvananthapuram): Deepa Pradakshinam (lamp procession) was held in Santhigiri Ashram full of spiritual light and devotional fervor on the occasion of the 24th Nava Oli Jyothir Dinam celebrations at Shantigiri Ashram. Starting from the Yajnashala at 7 pm, the procession went around the ashram complex and reached the Spiritual Zone. The procession concluded at the feet of the Guru with the chanting of mantras. The path of the procession and the ashram complex became fragrant with the smoke of incense sticks and loban. Hundreds of devotees lined the path with lamps on their palms illuminating the night. The traditional panchavadya, nadasvara and perumbara resounded in the air along with the chanting of the Guru mantra. Ashram President Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapaswi led the lamp procession in which many people from different parts of the country participated.

After Deepa Pradakshinam, from 9 to 9.30 pm (the time when the Guru merged into Adisankalpam) special worship and special flower offering at Lotus Parnashala took place. The Nava Oli celebrations will conclude with the Divya Pooja Samarpanam ceremony on May 7 at 4 pm.
