AYUSH skill courses: MoU exchanged.

Pothencode (Thiruvananthapuram): An MoU has been exchanged between Healthcare Sector Skill Council,New Delhi and Santhigiri Institute of Skill Development for the development of paramedical skills in the AYUSH sector in the country. HSSC CEO Ashish Jain and Santhigiri Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi exchanged the MoU at an orientation workshop held at Santhigiri Siddha Medical College, Pothancode. Detailed presentation was made about various paramedical courses, syllabus and qualification in the workshop about Ayush skill courses. Santhigiri Healthcare Research Organization head Swami Gurusavidh jnana Thapaswi said that more such training programs for skill development will be planned and implemented for those working in the field of Ayush treatment and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Siddha College Principal Dr. DK Soundararajan presided over the function, Vice Principal Dr. P. Hariharan, Sector Skill Council AGM Anshu Verma, Assistant Manager Dr. Nehadeep, Santhigiri Institute of Paramedical Science Vice Principal Dr. Geeta. Medical Advisor Dr. B.Rajkumar,  Clinical Coordinator Dr.Prakash.SL and Medical Education AGM Vijayan.S participated. About 100 stakeholders working in the AYUSH medical field of the state participated in the awareness program. A workshop on Syllabus of Siddha Varma Therapy Assistant Course was also held in the forenoon session.
